[The Faun and the Nymph]

strong 8/10 :)

style: 7/10 (nice for eye, not too much original style)
drawing: 9/10 (all is nice but there's almost no shading, which should be ok, but you used dark shade on "faun on a tree" scene)
music: 5/10 (just because :P)
animation: 10/10 (nice, fluent animation)
sound effects 9/10 (good, fitting sound effects)
montage: 10/10 (nothing to complain about)
final: 8/10

Really good animation, hope to see something new soon. That's nice that there's someone out there that take influence from adam phillips work instead of cliched anime or arcade games ;)

[Pokemon: Fated Encounter]

hmmm, difficult to rate

theme: 2/10 (every anime is copy of former anime, and when you copy a copy that's copy of a copy, it's not good ;) )
drawing: 2/10 (if you need to use anime style, do it better)
music: 1/10 (too high pitched for big action scene like this one)
animation: 5/10 (it's beeen like 1 second good, 1 second bad, 1 second good etc)
sound effects 10/10 (really good sound effects, nothing to complain)
montage 20/10 :)
final: 6/10

you've got to look for work in some animation studio, your montage is totally awesome, but please, when you'll be making something new after this small series, stay away of all anime and other cliches (using someone else's ideas never help), it seems that you can do something much better than most of amateur animators out there.

short arms

I know it's i some way pointless review for stick movie, but guys, why do you like so much to draw so short arms for stickmen? I just don't get it :P is it caricature? or anime cliche(short arms/ long legs)? Small things like that can put an awkward feeling in even as cool animation as yours.
beyond that - good job :)

As my voting says: "Nothing too new or interesting".
Even if you like this kind of stuff, it's nothing new, just bag of anime cliches without even some creative nuances. I don't want to offend anybody, I like some of anime films and series', but newgrounds.com is about creativity, am I right? ;) And you are creative only when you are creative in more than
one way.
I'm looking forward to see something made in your own, autonomous style.

oldschool sci-fi

nice to see that someone out there still take influence from oldschool sci-fi movies before star wars and matrix :)
but once again like in primal war you've drawn and animate this girl as cute model, not female warrior :P sorry, but that's true, and it's taking a lot of climate out of movie, but you still did a good job :) congratulations
(to others, don't complain at bad sound quality, i think it's in some kind part of this style :) )

Adam, I'm your big fan for few years, and thing that made your movies unique, was this mystical climate, and fact, that every single one could be finished story.
Now you've created episode, not full, complete movie, and i think that it is not too good for unique productions.
Didn't like the narration too, with this brackenwood short you finished fable, and started story (know what i mean?) and lost all this mythical background.
the last thing that i didn't like was really big glitch in the storyline, you tell us that bitey is the only intelligent creature there, but what with Tea Drinking Witch from "Bitey of Brackenwood"(sorry if wrong title, don't remember) and Auld Sage?
And at last, it wasn't really a brackenwood short ;) at all it looked more like a trailer to "Brackenwood the movie" ;)

liked the graphics and animation, but for Bitey's sake! do not wipe out all this brackenwood magic from your movies!!!!!!!

I've been developing Brackenwood history since 2000 and I've never said Bitey was the only intelligent creature there ;)

great abilities in animation, but the storyline have been pretty bad, and broke down all good work, try to work harder on the plot, do something more than mix of shallow anime-like schemes

i see that you spend lot of time on this, but the plot could be better (it looked a little like story of one guy looking for his schizophrenic friend, a nd finally found naked neext to tree on... cemetery[?]) and male character was just badly drawn in too many scenes.

But movie as all was ok.
